My son is very active outdoors and these are the best because they can be worn in and out of the water. We frequent ammusment parks, water parks, beaches, lakes, and rivers in the summer and they worked fantastic by protecting his feet. They are made very well, light weight, easy to put on, and take off. I'll be buying a larger size for next summer. My son is advancing from size 9 to 10. So for longevity I bought a size 11. I was taken aback to realize the battle I have to fight each time I need to get it on his feet. The contouring of the design forces one to purchase larger sizes. I do like the sandal, so should I make another purchase I understand I will have to go at least 2 sizes bigger than the norm. I propose that babies with chunkier feet will surely have greater difficulties. She'll be 2 in 3 weeks, and as soon as we received them, she wanted to put them on. They must be very comfortable, as my daughter wore these all of last summer. Her daycare has a water room, and she wears them in there. She loves them!! The typical water shoes must hurt her feet, rub on the top, or just don't feel good. She never complains about these. I keep a pair for her to wear all summer, and another pair for daycare to use. The sizing is also great, as you can adjust the velcro as their feet grow. The beauty is you can wear these as everyday shoes, as well as to the pool and beach. I highly recommend and will continue to purchase.
