 Great shoe ... but stinky!, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Stride Rite Kyle Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid) (Apparel) This was a great sandal because it is breathable, yet covered the toes (a must for daycare or preschool). It is the perfect cross between a sandal and sneaker.My son normally wears a 9.5 to 10 and he has wide feet, so I ordered the 10 wide. It was a bit long, which was fine because he grew into them over the summer and still fits them now that it's fall (I just have him wear it with socks in the fall). I would say it fits about a 1/2 size larger in the length. The width seems true to size. I am knocking off a star because it made my son's feet stink really bad (he has sweaty feet though). Although it doesn't say it is machine washable, I washed it anyway because the smell got so bad, and it came out fine. I removed the insole and washed that separately with the shoe. It dried overnight under a ceiling fan. The stink might not be an issue if your kid's feet don't stink. One other note ... the two straps made the tops of his feet a little pink the first...
